Organic fresh greens and sweet green peppers available at TUMC Friday morning (11/13) from 10-noon

We “rescued” some organic produce from Cottingham Farm in Easton and have an assortment of greens (kale, bok choy, Chinese cabbage, mustard greens, collard greens, and artisan greens) as well as a large crate of sweet green peppers at the church for anyone who can use it.  I will be in the annex/social hall from 10-noon tomorrow (Friday) for pick up.  If you are not a “greens” person, this might be a chance to try something new.  The farmer recommends cutting the greens in thin strips and sauteeing them for about 25 minutes.  Most of the greens go well raw in salads, also.
