Healthy Tilghman Exercise Group…

…provides a community-based exercise and nutrition program at no charge for all ages and all levels of experience.

Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:00 AM 
Tuesday, Zumba at 6:00 PM

Tilghman United Methodist Church Annex

March 5 we will NOT have a Tuesday evening class due to the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper at the church.  On March 6, there will be a Wednesday morning class but we will need to end promptly so the tables can be set up for a lunch after the noon Ash Wednesday service. All are invited to the service and the lunch, as well.

We continue to use participants’ donations to add to our equipment. We are looking for new videos and we plan to get a few more “light” resistance bands. Based on the survey responses, we have added a Friday morning session.

The Tilghman Exercise Group provides structured classes, and workout videos for all ages and all levels. Many exercises are available with a choice of either standing or sitting. This is a community-based, non-intimidating way to get started on an exercise program with support from friends and neighbors.

Come for 20-30 minutes or stay for the entire hour session!

Feel free to come for as long or as short a period as suits you. Stay for classes or conversations with friends and neighbors.

Activities

There are instructor-led exercise segments, Zumba classes, and special presentations about nutrition and food choices and preparation. Video exercise sessions as well as targeted exercise classes for cardio, strength, core and balance are provided throughout the week.

A dozen people attended the exercise class on Monday, 9/24/18.  The number is growing and so is the enthusiasm!
